Greetings Readers! 2011 was a truly significant year for Doral News, and of course for this servant who has been over almost the last 7 years writing for our City, together with our collaborators and journalists. During this year, we tried to choose the most prominent and varied issues that would encourage a sound and objective analysis for the benefit of all readers. If I have to describe this year, I can say, without doubt, that it was a year full of excitement and satisfaction, as evidenced by our dear readers when expressing their testimonies via email or personally, regarding the interest in the issues we covered along this year.
The simple fact of your testimonies gives us enormous satisfaction as the goal of every communicator is just that, reach out to readers and the community with accurate, timely, and above all, truthful information of relevant and news-making events of our beloved City of Doral. This is our real award, your recognition. We have worked with passion, wanting to do things right, trying not to overlook the details, and doing our bit and being part of the growth of this vibrant city. I must admit that this year I have enjoyed my role in this newspaper with my community and for my community. It makes me feel enthusiastic and renewed every day. I am convinced that as human beings we should never be deprived of a dream for which to strive for, a project to develop or something to learn, and my dear Readers, this has been my experience this year with my co-workers, with all of them without exception.
Therefore, on this occasion, I would publicly like to express each of them, my coworkers, my immense gratitude for their effort and noble intentions for the company, because thanks to their commitment, today Doral News has excellent recognition and preference in the sector.
In this last edition of the year, a time when many yearn for the past, appreciate the present and look to the future with expectation, we wish that the Christmas Season awakens in your hearts the noblest sentiments and hope for the best New Year.
In this case, it is not my opinion, but my sincere wishes that I know all of us at Doral News share, The Chroniclers of Your Community.
See you again on January 24th!
